These can be entered directly in the navigation system. Its automatic emergency call feature and breakdown assistance request, including vehicle location data, enhances your safety.

BMW Online.

BMW Online is an internet-based feature which can be used to read or send e-mails and offers individually tailored information services including news and business updates, sports results and flight schedules. With its address book feature and e-mail function, BMW Online transforms your BMW M3 Convertible into a mobile office. At BMW, we know that getting you to your destination quickly is more than a matter of mere speed. The BMW Professional navigation system – available as an optional extra – provides a high level of comfort. In addition to spoken directions or those given via the Control Display, the driver can enter his destination via Voice Control. The main iDrive functions can also be selected by Voice Control.

Mobile phone preparation with Bluetooth interface for the BMW M3 Convertible.

Bluetooth-compatible mobile phones register with the on-board computer via the optional interface as soon as the driver approaches the vehicle. Telephone numbers, addresses and call lists are then automatically synchronised with the on-board computer. During the journey, the mobile phone can be operated using the multifunction steering wheel or the hands-free equipment. Your local BMW dealer will be happy to inform you of the mobile phones with which the Bluetooth interface is compatible.

How do you navigate through a library of 10,000 songs? Thanks to the optional USB/audio connection, passengers in the BMW M3 Convertible can access and listen to their entire music libraries. The navigation system displays all the folders and tracks stored on all widely available MP3 players, USB sticks and iPods, and the device's functions can be operated using the multifunction steering wheel, the iDrive button or the Professional radio. To protect your device, the optional armrest comes with a choice of one of the different-sized multimedia bags.

Digital road maps for the BMW M3 Convertible.

Road networks are constantly changing: digital road maps for BMW navigation systems keep you informed of these changes and are available on CD or DVD twice a year. The integrated Falk travel guide* also provides you with a range of additional useful information, such as local sights and restaurants.
