The audio system in the BMW 3 Series Convertible transforms your cabin to concert hall. Subwoofers beneath the front seats form the basis of the exceptional sound. Ten high-fidelity speakers deliver superb audio quality, even when you're driving with the top down. The optional HiFi Professional LOGIC7 System creates precisely the acoustic environment you wish - from jazz club to cathedral. The AUX and USB ports let you connect external devices such as DAT recorders or iPods. Two BMW radios, a CD changer and an MD player complete the entertainment options.

Load-through system in the BMW 3 Series Convertible.

Unique versatility for a Convertible: the optional load-through system. A 40cm x 26 cm hatch connects the boot with the cabin. Simply open it to provide extra stowage space for long items such as your skis, snowboard or golf bag. For even larger items, simply fold down the rear seat backs completely.

Automatic air conditioning in the BMW 3 Series Convertible.

The optional automatic climate control system with Automatic Air Recirculation includes microfilters, condensation and sunlight sensors and fast-heating feature, to quickly create a comfortable cabin temperature and to hold it constant. Driver and front-seat passenger can select their preferred temperature individually. In combination with the optional navigation system from BMW, a special Convertible mode provides comfortable temperature control for open-top driving.

Combining outstanding materials with excellent craftsmanship: the standard seats for driver and front passenger in BMW 3 Series Convertible offer electric adjustment of the seat back angle, seat heights and lateral position, enabling them to be fine-tuned to suit your individual preferences. And for the first time in a Convertible with leather upholstery: innovative Sun Reflective technology reduces uncomfortable heating of the seats. A special leather treatment reflects a large part of the infrared radiation contained in direct sunlight, ensuring comfortably cool seats even in summer.

Steering wheels in the BMW 3 Series Convertible.

With its compact form (369mm diameter) the optional sports leather steering wheel provides precise control and a comfortable grip. If desired, the steering wheel can also be fitted with multifunction controls (standard for 335i) which operate the radio, CD player and optional telephone, plus two programmable keys.

Lights package for the BMW 3 Series Convertible.

The optional lights package ensures that the front of the cabin is automatically illuminated for 20 seconds once you unlock the doors, giving you the time to take your seat comfortably. As soon as a door is opened, footwell lights are activated to optimally guide passengers to their seats. The lights package also includes reading lights situated in the front and rear of the vehicle and two lit make-up mirrors.

BMW provides innovative safety solutions for its youngest passengers with the BMW Junior Seat I - II. The child seat specially designed for vehicles with the ISOFIX mounting system consists of a height-adjustable and inclinable seat as well as a seat hook. The seat is suitable for children who weigh 9 to 18 kg (seatbelts are used to secure children weighing 18 - 26 kg) and is available in the following designs: grey/blue and Formula 1.
